Formerly Shirk Television (1965), House of Tapes (1969) and Elite Travel (c1979-83). Robert Peeler opened Peeler Music in 1984. Peeler Music closed in 2008. More details in Robert Peelers obituary included in the read more portion of this post.

Built c1947. Some family names associated with this property: Rosinski; Sheats. Property was purchased by “SDT 1 Properties,” assumed to be Stephen D. Taylor. Also assumed that Taylor Cadillac will demolish the house and expand their parking lot, if it has not done so already.

Reggie’s was originally located at 3437 Alexis Road before moving to 5934 Secor Road. Reggie’s opened c1955 and closed in April 2025.

Four B’s Gulf Station, 6204 W. Central Avenue

1958. The sun casting the shadow of the Gulf sign on the roof.

This Gulf gas station was located on the northwest corner of Millicent and Central Avenue. Gone by 1962.

House, 3339 Warner Avenue

1998. The house used to have a small two garage, which is partially visible in this image. In the ’80s the left side was a drum/band room where the sounds of Rush’s Tom Sawyer often emanated from.
