In 1861 this land was still owned by Emmeline Wadsworth. In 1875 it was owned by Jeremiah Micham (1822-1898) and in 1888 by Riley Micham. A map from 1900 shows a house on the property facing Holland-Sylvania Road. Charles Micham, the brother of Riley, owned the land on the south side of his brothers property. Henry Haefner married Louisa Gerner in June 1897 in Lucas County. By 1910, the Riley property was the home and farm of Henry and Louisa Haefner.

1949. This map shows the Haefner Farm circled in white. The farm house and out-buildings are at the far left side of the circle. The former William Lindsey farm is on the north side of the Haefner Farm. The former Charles Micham land is the Hardington subdivision of home visible along Dennison Road in this image. Source: ODOT.

Still standing in 1962. Around this time Gill Asphalt Company was using the property behind the house.
1967. It appears the home and most of the structures are gone, but remnants remain.
By 1980 major development has taken place, including the Hunting Creek subdivision built on the former Haefner farm. The location of the former farm house is circled in white.
