Rax was built on an empty lot (previously owned by Carl Fisher) on the northeast corner of Central Avenue and Waldmar Road. Rax opened in September, 1984. Best chocolate chip shakes ever!
Closed in 1988. Building was expanded and opened as a Frisch’s Big Boy.
In 2008 Sammy’s Brunch opened at this location. After a major remodel the location became and remains an Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
