Fisher Leasing was incorporated by Roy C. Fisher and his son Jay E. Fisher in 1971.
Jay Fisher already had a successful history in auto sales.
In the ’70s Fisher Leasing was located at 5744 W. Central.
By the ’80s Fisher Leasing relocated to 6503 Monroe Street.
Jay Fisher then opened Westwood Auto Leasing at 6064 W. Central in the former Central Avenue Snip beauty salon.
Jay Fisher later relocated his used car business to 6222 W. Central. That location was purchased, demolished and is now located in the parking lot of Taylor Hyundai.
