6400 Block, Central Avenue. (South Side)

Some uncertainty with address numbers for some homes on the south side of Central Avenue between Moffat Road and Wilford Drive. We know the addresses for numbers 1, 5, 6, 8 and 9, and the latter four are featured individually on this site. The #1 property is 6437 W. Central and has been a Sohio, BP and most recently S&G. No early house photo for this address, yet. So, going to batch post three homes (2, 3 and 4) here. Note: 6400 block exists between Plainview and Wilford. 6300 block is east of Plainview.

#2. Guessing this address to be 6421 W. Central Ave. Notice #3 is visible in this image. A search of AREIS for the assessor number on this pic gives 6437, but aerial images show this not to be that house(#1).

#3. Guessing this address to be 6417 W. Central Ave.

#4. Guessing this address to be 6409 W. Central Ave. With two front doors, this appears to be a duplex, but have found no evidence of that, yet.

There are names asssociated with the guessed addresses in newspaper archives, but no property records found yet that connect the images to an address. And, addresses can change over the years/decades. Also, the assessor number on the image has no corresponding record in AREIS, and assessor numbers are not always applied from one house directly to the next. So, guessing continues, for now.

NOTE: Although the images show assessor numbers, the numbers as you would find them in AREIS are 3021024, 30210017 and 30210018. If you know why, please let us know.
